“I was a afraid of the dark as a kid. As I have grown older, I am not afraid of the dark (per say) but I am terrified of pitch black. There is always some type of light around me (TV, glow in the dark Virgin Mary, back / ambient light). For me, my eyes need to always focus on something for fear that my imagine will take over. Even when I close my eyes, I’m still comforted that when I open them, there will be some type of recognizability in my surroundings. That’s what NITE LIGHTS do for me… they are a form of comfort in the fear of the unknown darkness.”

With the NITE LIGHT series, moments in night are captured, where the darkness and fear is contrasted with light.
